Making the most of your printer investment doesn't always mean adding bells and whistles to your hardware. In fact, HP LaserJet print cartridges account for 70% of your printer's imaging system. Every time you replace a toner cartridge in your printer, it's like replacing an engine in your car.

Meeting standards for print quality, and keeping productivity high by reducing the extra labor required when projects don't turn out right the first time, can be as easy as observing these simple rules of thumb:
  Use maximum capacity print cartridges

Take advantage of the "no-shake" feature in many of our cartridges

  Print with HP paper

Maximum capacity print cartridges
For high-volume printing needs, HP offers a maximum capacity cartridge option. HP "X" cartridges offer the same outstanding quality and reliability you expect from HP LaserJet standard cartridges, with an average of 40 percent more pages -- an exceptional value for the busy home or office. (Page yield is based on 5% coverage).

No-shake cartridges
Always on the lookout for innovative ways to improve product design, we thought it was high time to do away with messy attempts to stir up the last bits of toner in your printer cartridge by shaking it -- or worse yet to throw the cartridge away before it's completely empty. That's why we created a new mechanical design that redistributes toner, ensuring full depletion -- and therefore no shaking and no wasting -- of toner. This feature is currently available in C8061A, C8061X, and C8543X cartridges.

HP paper
Paper matters. HP paper is designed to minimise downtime and maximise your output. The quality of the paper you use in your printer makes a difference for several reasons.

Lesser quality paper:
Is more porous and therefore uses/wastes more ink

Causes frequent printer jams, requiring reprints

  Gives poor quality output

At HP, our Media Lab works collaboratively with printer engineers in the earliest stages of new product development, matching the interaction of paper with printer, ink, and toner to ensure excellent quality and optimum performance in every print detail -- from how your document looks and feels to how it feeds through your printer.
