The HP Planet Partners Hardware Return and Recycling Programme

Photo of computers The HP Planet Partners Hardware Return and Recycling Programme is an initiative to provide HP corporate customers with an easy way to dispose of used computing equipment in a socially and environmentally responsible manner.
The programme is available on an ad hoc basis for the following countries:
Indonesia
Malaysia
Philippines
Thailand

The programme offers to take back end-of-life HP and non-HP computer and printing hardware products such as:
Scanners
Fax machines
Personal computers
Servers
Monitors
Handheld devices
Printers
Associated external components such as cable, mouse and keyboards

Programme participation pre-conditions:

Please note there are a few pre-conditions and/or exemptions:
HP Planet Partners recycling service is available for HP customers only. HP Account Manager referral or proof of purchase (purchase receipt or delivery receipt or tax invoice) of an HP product is required when returning non-HP products.
Locations for pick-up and collection must be close to or within large metropolitan areas.
Minimum pick-up volume of one pallet size or min
one (1) cubic metre.
Products must be packed in cardboard boxes of about one (1) cubic metre or loaded on pallets.
No other trash, waste or chemicals will be picked up.
Products must not contain broken monitors, CRTs or LCDs.
Products have not been exposed to radiation, bio or chemicals.
Packaging materials like cartons, manuals and paper scraps will not be accepted on their own.
Customers who want to return their servers through this programme should have their servers removed from any racks or fittings (stand alone) prior to handling over to the logistics service provider.

How to sign up

Product Take Back Form Step 1:
Click on the Product Take Back Form.

Fill up the form
Click on the "submit" button and you will receive a reply with the packing list.
Within five working days, the logistics service provider will contact you to arrange collection.

On the agreed collection date
Hand over the goods and packing list to the logistics service provider.

After the products are collected, they will be processed at a recycling centre that guarantees the proper removal of software and data as well as environmentally responsible recycling.
