From the expensive and rising costs of energy in the APJ region, to the impact energy consumption places on our environment, HP realizes there's a multitude of good reasons why we should conserve this resource.

Energy efficiency has been a key element in our Design for Environment program since its inception in 1992. Our aim is to help customers decrease energy use and save money through innovative design and technologies across our product portfolio.

HP is increasing the energy efficiency of our products as well as our operations and leading by example to inspire customers, governments, communities and other organizations to make a commitment to creating a more energy-efficient environment.

HP gets green with power
HP's commitment to energy efficiency is reflected in its day-to-day business practices. HP manages its energy impact by calculating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions generated by our operations and use of electricity. Our goal is to reduce CO2 emissions by 15 percent by 2010.
